ATPL Theory Schools in Hungary

Hi there,
I am thinking of doing my ATPL theory training via distance learning with a flight school in Hungary. I have read through all the older threads but there aren't any recent updates on this topic.

I got three flight schools in mind:
  • CAVOK: 1,700 EUR for ATPL distance learning with 24 months access to question database (Aviation Exam ebooks + database, ATPL-Q database), local brush up courses, KSA100 assessments
  • Airwin: 2,350 EUR for supervised self-study, 12 months access to AE Question Bank, 65 hours virtual classroom, eBooks for all ATPL(A) Theory subjects
  • Pannon Air Service: 2,390 EUR but no details on which training providers
Is there anyone out there with recent experience on the quality of training of these schools? I am particularly interested in the ATPL theory. The quality of the practical training is not that much relevant to me.

If you know other flight schools in the Budapest region where you've had great experience regarding the ATPL theory or you heard good things about I would very much appreciate your repsonse!

Thanks in advance

I’ll give this one a bump up
i am after a list of ATOs recognized by the hungarian CAA (NHK)

their whole webpage looks like an underdeveloped ground school web project with no info on anything whatsoever, though HU is a part of EASA and are obliged to publish such info
anyone knows how to find it please step up

Yeah their website is horrible.

Anyway, here is a link to approved ATO's in Hungary, includes all the details like location, scope of training etc. It was updated on 02/04/2024 so this is definitely the latest. You can download it with the blue button.

And regarding training i can recommend Easy-Pilot. (HU.ATO.0087) you can find them on the list above. ATPL Theory Course - 100% online EASA - Easy Pilot - Easy Pilot (easy-pilot.com)
