Expired TR vs ATPL exam theory

Hi collective wisdom of PPruNE,

After a quick sanity check please (I've googled around but am not 100% sure of the answer).

I'm a UK Part-FCL CPL holder. On my UK Part-FCL license it has an expired type rating. The entry reads "jet aircraft name/MP/IR". It expired end of last year. I have no other valid standalone IR or type rating on my license (they expired a few years ago).

Do I have seven years from when that rating expired before I run into problems (i.e. having to take all ATPL exams again?)

Many thanks in advance

Yup. 7 years from last validity. The bonus is that even if you screw up so badly that your ATPLs expire you still don't need them to get a job. You only need them for your first type rating and your command.
