Lifelong Loan Entitlement
 

Does anyone on the forum know if flight training will be eligible with regards Lifelong Loan Entitlement announced by the government recently.

In the UK:
flexible student loan

'Lifetime Skills Guarantee'

- It'll be available to anyone over the age of 16 in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
- It'll be equivalent to up to four years' worth of student loans.
- Borrowers will be able to use the loan 'flexibly' over their lifetime.
- They will be able to use the loan at college and university.

This is part of a bill still going through Parliament so maybe too soon to tell.

But I was just wondering if some commercial training may be included here? I know it is a long shot.

Don't think ATPL will fit into this scheme considering huge money investment. You can forget it.

You aren’t going to earn enough in this industry to pay off the interest never mind the loan!
