UK No longer in the EASA Examiner Differences Document
The EASA Differences document no longer has UK in its listing. The UK CAA website still states that NON UK Examiners should refer to the EASA Examiners Differences Document.
So what are the rules regarding EASA examiners doing exams of UK license holders.? |
They’re rubbish, aren’t they?! You need the IN 2016/003
Civil Aviation Authority INFORMATION NOTICE Number: IN–2016/003 Issued: 8 January 2016 Procedures for Examiners Holding Part-FCL Certificates Issued by Countries Other than the UK It’s a dull read but they are really picky about the format of the title of the email you send requesting authority. Good luck |
Thanks for that, have to laugh that they still refer you to the EASA Document even though its not valid for the UK, got to laugh.

I’ve kept a copy of EDD 2020 Q4 with the uk refs in it. May still be downloadable even though we’re now on 2021 Q1
