ICAO CPL to EASA (UK) with ATR Type rating

Good day all,

please can someone assist me I’m trying to convert my SACAA (ICAO) CPL ME IR to and EASA (UK) license.

im finding it very difficult to get the answers I need

1) I am finishing off my EASA ATPL exams have 6 left and am writing with Austro Control.
2) I have an expired UK Class 1 Medical and will renew that very soon
3) I have 2000+ hours TT
4) I have 500+ hours on the ATR

im trying to find out how I can go about getting both my license converted and my ATR type rating converted at the same time as my budget is very tight

If someone can help me with regards to this please contact me as soon as possible.

looking to know if and how I can go about doing this and what flight school in the UK or EU I can go to do this training, need to do the training latest in September this year (2020)

thanks in advance for all the help

You will find it quite hard if you don't bother looking. This has been answered numerous times.

Pass the exams, take the test in an ATR SIM, get the licence and type rating.

....and your SA CPL IR has to be 'current and valid' to claim training exemptions for the flight tests.

Thanks Alex it is still Valid and Current still expires in November so looking for a flight school for the flight training in September, If you know of anywhere that does the ATR and conversation to EASA or know of who I can contact that would be greatly appreciated

Not many ATR sims about for use ,we use 72/500(can be converted 72/320) at CAE Amsterdam. If its 600 series Dublin's Simtech just bought one, you will need to
check for an approved examiners list and process from UK CAA.
