Just wanted to add my experience of this company to the thread!

I initially started an MPL with Flybe at FTE Jerez, for various reasons I left to follow a more modular route so I have now completed my ATPLS and PPL. Following on from Covid I have been looking for a school to finish off the remainder of my training. For the obvious reasons such as weather and cost I have been trying to find somewhere outside of the UK. Who wouldn't want to train at a company run by Airbus!?

In May I made a request for information from Airbus through their online form, I received no response, a few weeks later I made another request still no response. Eventually a European friend also seeking a decent school gave me a contact email for a member of their staff. I of course sent off a polite email again requesting a price list and further information, I again received no response, I then chased this and finally received a response requesting information I had already provided in my initial email. I then again received no response, I'm sure you can see a theme here! In all I sent 12 emails to this individual to either be ignored or given some sort of excuse. I then found the email for another member of staff through LinkedIn to make a complaint, this individual kindly responded and passed on my email, it then took two weeks to get a response from this person who again made no apology and essentially indicated that because I don't have a French SOLI there is nothing they can do for me. In all I sent over 20 emails requesting information and a price list, I was courteous until the very last. All I can say is they are not worth your time, if they can't show you respect as a prospective customer then I'd hate to experience their customer service once they have you contractually obliged to pay them.

The issue of the French SOLI is also I find quite perplexing, France is part of EASA, the school is named Airbus Academy Europe, not Airbus Academy France, go figure. I have also been in touch with the Mexican counterpart I should say for the record that they are very helpful and from what I can gather don't discriminate so brazenly as this establishment.

If you're looking for somewhere decent I have heard good things about; Bartolini in Poland, OSM in Sweden and Norway and EAS Barcelona!

Good look everyone!
