CAE Madrid Vueling Programme

Hi,

I would like to apply to this scheme but there is something I find weird: they do not seem to have a limitation considering the number of cadets they want for Vueling, a guy I know told me that if you pass all the stages you are OK and will be offered a placement with Vueling once training completed.
How can they not oversize the recruitments?

Apparently Vueling write them a letter to confirm the conditional placement offer before starting the training. So it seems to be a good option after all, but... Could somebody currently in training with them or having relevant information shed some light on this, please? Thanks.

Because Vueling pay their guys a basic of 1k a month and with a 130k training debt + living costs that doesn't make any sense for even the most desperate

Well I guess if you don't have that amount of debt and have some savings to put inside it's not that bad, more specifically if you consider the whole package with perdiems etc, 1st year is said to be at about 2 or 2,5k net, after that it gets better and better. Not that much different to gen easyJet in fact, at the beginning!
But really I just ask how is it possible not to oversize the recruitments, and what are the real chances to get a job with Vueling at the end? It seems that we are going the downturn for a bit, will Vueling have all those jobs?
Are you in that programme Officer Kite?
