Flight school recomendations
Hi there,
I am looking for any guidance in choosing a good and affordable flight school in europe for modular training. Would love to hear recomendations and experiences! :} |
For which module and where? Europe is a big place. The main advantage of modular is that you can do most or all of it part time or around a job. The sensible thing to do is get your PPL, hour building and ATPLs somewhere close to home and maybe go further afield to a bigger school when it comes to the IR and CPL.

I have my PPL, i have passed all the ATPL exams and i am looking to take the CPL/IR/ME +MCC at a modular flightschool but there are so many to choose from

Have you finished your hour building yet? If not, you still have the chance to save money by doing the IRR and CBIR as part of your hour building.

DFAS (Diamond flight academy Scandinavia) is very good school in your neighborhood. They are very responsive and keep to their word. Price-wise they are somewhere in the middle, but are one of few where you will not be able to find bad experience. |

I do not have the night rating though, i cant understand why it is neccesary when one is working on an Instrument raiting but i see some schools require it. I have an FAA PPL also, not sure if the night hours on there will count as a night qualification here in europe. |

Well not that simple if i live in europe, have all my night hours on my FAA PPL and no night rating on my Easa PPL. Will 0.7 of dual time at night on an easa ppl be sufficent then?
