ICAO MPL to EASA ATPL

Hi everyone,

Currently flying A320 with an ICAO MPL (restricted to my current company) and i love it.
I have around 800 hrs of flying hours and i come to an important decision in my career planning.
Either just get my ICAO ATPL when i reach 1500hr or start doing my EASA ATPL (preferably from now).

I have few questions regarding the way of doing it.
Is it possible to start doing the 14 exams now without sitting to the classes ? or do i need to wait to have an ICAO ATPL for that ?
I saw from some job offer that the country of issuance is selective (tendency to ask for german or uk), shall i pay any attention about that ?
Do anyone have an idea about the cost more or less ? shall i expect 5k or 10k euros

Regards,

PS i hold a EU passport ofc

You will need to hold a full ICAO ATPL to be exempt groundschool courses. Look at Bristol.gs for books, by far the best.
