EASA/FAA Training in North America
 

Hi everyone,

I'm looking into some different flight schools to enroll to including 2 in my home country of Ireland. However, I've also looked at some schools in the United States or Canada that offer EASA training as well as FAA. I would like to know what the best schools are to enroll in USA/Canada? I've heard good things about AAA in San Diego as well as EFT in Florida.

Why do you want EASA training? Doesn't going to a country for cheap flying, then limiting yourself to only the most expensive schools defeat the object?

EASA has a list of approved schools outside the EU. Go through the list and contact all schools you are interested in. Be very cautious of overseas schools offering dual training. It's worth taking a trip before you make your decision. Do not under any circumstances pay upfront for application fees or administrative fees.
