QXC Flight

Hi there,

Can any one point me in the direction of the official wording for this? I am specifically wondering if one can use VOR's? I am not planning to fly VOR to VOR, but I like to have one set up on approach to my home airfield which is surrounded by class A.

Thanks

No one can tell if you used radio navaids or not on a flight. :ok:

I could use GPS and no one would know either, I do however intend to remain in the spirit and rules of the exercise. I was under the impression radio nav aids were permissible for cross Country VFR qualifier flights, I just wanted some one to confirm this.

I would still fly using maps and dead reckoning as you said. I dont agree with students using the high tech gear in the early stages of their training. Its creates issues later down the line.
