ATPL module for PPL?

Hello
waiting to start my PPL in the USA during the next March. I would like to start study the ATPL in advance.
I would like to know which module would be best to start studying and will be a plus for the PPL? Principle of flight?
Thanks all!

Just read through the material once you get through your PPL exams. Gen Nav and Met are considered the hardest, so perhaps it might be an idea to look over those to get a head start on them.

Personally Nav, Met and POF.

Thank you i will focus on the most important and hard subject to be ready but there is no subject that i could learn and who could help me the PPL exam ?

If the ATPL provider you intend to go with has a program or schedule, follow that.

Just do the PPL material first, don't jump ahead with the ATPL until you're through PPL. You'll only take on too much material which could be overwhelming. By starting with PPL and then moving up to ATPL you'll have a solid grounding for the second stage.

As others have suggested I should just concentrate on doing the PPL theory which 'should' provide a reasonable base line to start your ATPLs eventually. Most of the PPL exams do actually bear some relevance to real flying, regretfully that can't be said about some of the EASA ATPLs.

Not all ATPL FTOs run their courses in the same subject order so there is no real point in going too far ahead. However if you find yourself getting bored I should start with Meteorology as this underpins everything to do with flying. You should be able to buy either a single book or DVD without committing to any particular ATPL FTO. Also brush-up on your maths in particular being able to transpose formula.

Whilst getting ahead of the game is not a bad thing, just remember that you have to complete an approved course of TK instruction lasting X hours so if you plan on attending a full time course you will still have to sit there for the duration....

It is a requirement to hold an ICAO PPL to enrol on an EASA approved ATPL Theory course. Do your PPL, then worry about the ATPL theory; you'll gain nothing by trying to beat the system, and maybe will distract yourself from the task at hand.
