MCC while integrated course
Hi folks,
While a guying is doing an integrated course, the MCC must be done at the same school or can be done with another provider? As far as I know the MCC is optional... I already asked to EASA but they told me to contact my proper authority... and this is one is very slooooow to answer... Thank you. |
Hi,
Imho, if you are doing 'CPL/IR integrated', MCC is irrelevant. But if you are 'ATP integrated', then MCC is mandatory and should be done in accordance with you school |
Thanks a million,
so what is relevant is which "box" my school's secretary is filling up on the document to issue the CPL, saying that I am doing a CPL/IR integrated and not an ATP integrated. |
Piloto Maluco...in this case (CPL/IR integrated) there's no MCC Course included...if you're performing an ATPL integrated...it's included...So, at the end, look at the contract with your present Academy.
If it's not included you can perform the MCC course in other training facilities... |
......and may be better off by doing so

And don’t get fooled by certain airlines asking for an MCC Course completion certificate from integrated students! What they, and many others, fail to understand that the CPL, MEC, IR and MCC are phases of ONE course, not several separate courses! The training is “integrated” so that all the concepts are taught from the beginning of the training and not “restricted” to single courses. The training provider may stipulate that the MCC ‘element’ of the course may be sub contracted to a different provider - as both AFTA and NFC in Ireland did with Simtech. Saves on resources. |
