Theory Exam Review Fee increased to 130
The price for the UK CAA to review a theory exam result has just increased from being the same as the exam fee (£71) to £130. See latest CAA Fees and Charges
Is this because they've been getting a lot more appeals (due to the new/revised question bank), or because they want to make more money out of it? You do still get your money back if an appeal is successful (ie converts a fail to a pass), so it probably is likely to be worthwhile if you got 73% but perhaps not worth it if you are much below 70%. I reckon your chances would be better if you made a lot of feedback comments during the exam itself, so they have something to work on. Unfortunately it's not possible to make any comments or suggestions when applying for an appeal/review after the exam. Does anybody have insight into how often appeals are successful? Comments on how worthwhile the process is? |
