Be careful as you dip your toe into the water.
I am sure they're all wonderful people but I don't see an ATO number. In other words not regulated by the CAA. And for the avoidance of doubt , this outfit has nothing to do with VIRTUAL AVIATION, Cambridge who are approved for MCC by the CAA. Let us know how you get on......... |
They are not claiming to be an ATO. What they offer is relatively cheap sim time (in a relatively cheap sim!) to practice for assessments, etc. They do not offer actual training.

"The UKs favourite flight simulator centre"
Groundloop
Pleased to hear that they not holding themselves out as an ATO. I am all in favour of little Johnny having such experience for his birthday present. I am sure it would be a memorable experience, and might even inspire him to a career in aviation. They do however conduct training, albeit non approved, according to their website "by fully qualified pilots". Ground school, pre & post flight briefings, with 60 mins in the simulator. 5 lessons in total to complete "our Virtual Type Rating course" As you say a very reasonable price. |
