ICAO ATPL to EASA ATPL
Hello friends,
i'd like to know what are the steps for converting my ICAO ATPL to EASA ATPL, actually i'm flying in Brazil and i haven't any type rated aircraft in my license, so what do i need to convert? i'm also Italian, so it's another open door for flying in Europe, cause here in Brazil it's almost impossible to get hired in any airline company... |
First step is to pass all 14 ATPL exams. Then make sure you have the required hours - do you have 500 hours multi crew time? (You mentioned no type ratings)
If no, you'll only be able to get a CPL/IR - 22 hours training and 2 flight tests in a SEP/MEP then an MCC course. If yes, it's a little fuzzy in your case. Normally if you work for an airline you'll do an ATPL test when you do your next LPC, but without an EASA type rating, I guess you'll have to do a full TR course, then ATPL test. |
I have not the 500 multi crew time !
Thank you !!!, now i need to know if having an ATPL (ICAO) I will need a theoretical course before doing the 14 ATPL exams or not. |
PACO is your man...
