CTC or FTEJerez

hello guys. I am torn apart and do not know which flight school to choose, either CTC or FTEJerez...

I have been to CTC's open day in their crew centre in Southampton and loved it. It was a truly epic experience.

then I looked at FTEJerez and saw that you need to have 2 a-levels, which I only have GSCE's, So then I messaged them and they said that they can accept me for training, but after graduation finding employment could be difficult. they went on to say that EasyJet require you to have 2 A-levels...

some information is greatly appreciated as I don't want to mess up on choosing the wrong FTO.

What is important is that you have sufficient grey matter to cope with the 14 EASA exams and your brain is wired correctly for flying.

So as a minimum 5 GCSE including maths, physics, and english.
2 A levels indicate sufficient mental capacity / IQ / call it what you like
That is not to say that you will not succeed without 2 As.

The hardest it gets is SIN COS TAN plus basic physics BOYLE / CHARLES LAW

You need a basic education in this aviation game. The course can be thought of as high volume, low grade material. First time passes in ALL subjects.
The acid test is getting a really good mark (90%+) in the NAVIGATION paper.
Fewest facts to learn, but all about UNDERSTANDING.

If CTC place the majority of their cadets with EasyJet (from my understanding) and EasyJets requirement is 2 A-levels then surely you are put in the same situation regarding employment from both of these FTO's.

The deciding factor will be which FTO you prefer yourself. I'd suggest visiting both and doing the selection at both. If you pass both then you are in the nice situation of being able to choose your preference.

Also I'd suggest obtaining your Class 1 Medical before you do any of this or make any commitments.

Maybe you could do a distance a level while you wait to start?
