ATPL mark revised.

I took my first four ATPL exams in December and passed them all. I got 87% in HPL but have just checked my email and seen a message from the CAA helpdesk entitled "your result for 40AA has been updated." Opened up the attached result slip and it now shows 89%. I'm not complaining, I'm just a bit confused!

The CAA exam portal is down at the moment and it's too late to call so just wondering if anyone on here knows what's going on?

Yes, somebody likely queried a question and they credited it to everyone who had the same one. Either that or they simply found an anomaly.

Hi Mike,

Did you get a question about light and dark adaptation? If so, then it was likely that question. A few of us queried it with the help of our HPL instructor and the CAA admitted it was a crap question.

Yes Champ, I did get that question and another user clarified that through a PM.

Fair play to the CAA for taking steps to improve the questions in fairness. Some of them are horribly worded.
