CPL(A) Cross country qualifier. Does it have to be in an Aeroplane?

I'm converting to Aeroplanes, and I've just been reading CAP804.
Sect 4 Part L Page 10&11 to be exact.

To paraphrase, I need 200 hours including at least 100PIC (which shall include the cross country qualifier)
HOWEVER: further on it says as a CPL(H) holder, I can count 100 P1 heli hours towards the 200.
I know that earlier on it says that unless specified, flight time is category specific, but I obviously couldn't have 100 P1 heli and 100 P1 fixed wing - because then I wouldn't have received any dual. Therefore the only way you can read it is that the Heli hours count towards the 200 AND the 100 PIC.
(Which shall include the cross country qualifier)

No.

Yes, silly wording of the regs. Unless "specifically stated", it is all requirements in category. Especially that 100hrs command..

Some people may upgrade NPPL etc, so wouldt possibly have lots of dual in SEP cat. If they don't do IR, could then count command of tmg or heli towards the 200tt for licence issue.

No way around. Unless doing CPL in other country system like FAA and knocking off command time using such licence.
