Anyone using this AIRBUS study sim?

Very interested if you have purchased this sim? Any comments greatly appreciated as I am considering purchasing this product.

The flying characteristics are not great, but the systems modelling is genuinely impressive.

did anyone buy this software? I would really appreciate a little feedback.
Is this simulator aof the A320 really as good as it is described on the homepage? Are the circuit breakes all working, for example, or is it just too expensive and full of bugs.

Don't waste your time or money on this
 

Please do not waste your money on this! It's extremely buggy on both PC windows and mac dual boot windows set ups.
If the A320 did what their sim does, it would be grounded faster than you can say B737 Max.
It does weird holding patterns, decides to follow constraints even if open climb/ vs selected.
Decides to orbit and descend even when Final approach selected and captured on RNAV... The list goes on & on.
You will find you waste more time trying to get anything useful out of it, than you would watching or reading manuals and other online resources regarding A320.
I've decided not worth wasting time making YouTube videos and showing why not to buy it, however
It cost me Australian $180 just to have USB licence key shipped, on top of extortionately high purchase price!
It really is a joke, they offered me refund on program purchase, however will still lose $200 Australian having USB key shipped out Swiss post and by the time I return Australian post.

I have no RW experience in Airbus, or any motorized aircraft at all - I do gliders only, for many years, but just "free-flight", but as a long time Aviation enthusiast, specially airliner enthusiast, and simmer for many years ( more than 25 I guess ), the focus on aircraft that I really like and the Airbus A32x / A31x line is probably one of my preferred in the last 10 yrs, I tried to use most of the offers available for game flight simulation platforms as FSX / P3D / XPlane, but am yet to find anything that can get as close as I think Aerowinx PSX can bring it's users to what a real 744 is...

From the "looks" of the Airlinetools page, and some videos available in youtube, not many unfortunately, I can glimpse a very interesting user interface, and apparently detailed systems modeling. The sounds aren't great ( but that's really an aspect I do not take as important in a PC-based flightsim, other than the reproduction of systems sounds and aural warnings... ) and the "flight" looks rather "n-rails", but other than that I like what I see.

Your feedback though isn't the first I have got from Airlinetools users. Most report a very buggy platform, although at the same time a very well organized "bug-tracker database" being run by the developers, and hopefully their continuous support on trying to bring this tool into better shape.

here is a little testimony on the A32X software

I thought I was dealing with a simulation if not perfect at least closer to reality in terms of driving and I was very disappointed.

First of all the software is written in visual basic 5, not even in c or c ++. He uses directx 8. Don't laugh!

When purchasing, you must wait by mail for a dongle key to unlock the program. In addition, the software does not work without internet connection a real stew for those who want simmers offline.

By reading the site one has the impression of an exclusivity on the STRM data whereas those used come from the public domain. Likewise the database is protected by a password so that the cycle can be found for free on torrent.

The files of the bmp (texture / grayscale) tiles are in fact renamed, making them think of a new format whereas with xview you can read them. Only part of the Earth is covered.

In fact this security paranoia hides a bug-filled software that uses public (low resolution) data.

Not all failures are simulated. Bugs in km of hardware configuration, joystick not to mention systems ...

It's a shame I find that this simu had its place but I strongly recommend not buying it, it could be the scam in the sense that a band of programmer / pilot want to put their pockets in it for software that does not deserve its price 500 euros!

Finally, there is no pdf tutorial and the few videos found are around 5 minutes and more!

HI, nothing in this world is a perfection. This simulator A32X is a piece of hard work of designers and I appreciate this a lot.
I´m been fllying commercial airline jets for 45 years B747, B737, B727, BAC1-11 500, 5,500hs in A320 8,300hs in A330, I retired from 2017 with 21,500hs, of course this program is not an A320 SIM of 5M dollars, is a simple result of maximising the use of a PC, I test it in a PC with a simple Ryzen 7 3700X a computer of about 1,400€ and it performs excellent, DO NOT expect sight-seen flights with high details, is not a game, or FSX, is an excellent tool for training at home, to revise mentally your procedures, abnormals, an emergencies and on top they offer an outstanding customer service.
The company Airlinetools GmbH provides to you full support, what else.
I am very satisfied with the A32X program, how it performs flying IFR procedures,FMGC procedures, up to CAT III approaches and everything is fine.
Congrats to Rolf and the team, they really have done an excellent contribution for training and safety.

Interesting that you don’t post anything for 15 years and then your own post is bringing up a thread from ages ago to advertise it, fo you work for a flat fee or is it commission based?

So in the end, X-plane 11 Toliss A320 study level aircraft is still the best in terms of price and quality?

FSLabs on Prepar3d. But the whole package is expensive. I was about to take the plunge when I was supposed to move to an Airbus operator. Miss Rona made me save some money.

FSLabs A320 is the only one accurate enough to be able to practice complex failures. I've tried them all.

Well, regarding the FSLabs it has some really basic flaws, like, no real asymmetric thrust effects modeling when in Normal Law and manually fyling.
You don't have to worry about compensating, even if you cycle the good engine aggressively because no sideslip will result, as if the AP was on and doing it's job, including rudder trimming...

At least the Toliss does this plausibly.
Regarding Airlinetools, I am sure most things have probably changed since my initial post from 2015. I have seen new features being implemented in their site.

If any user of the present version can bring some additional insight / opinions that would be great.

Hi all. With the new Microsoft flight simulator 2020 Fenix A320. Would you consider this a good study-level aircraft or at least the same level as FS Labs on Prepar3D?
