Flying schools in US
 

Hello, I would appreciate any recent reviews I can get on any flying schools in the US preferably that have regular Indian trainees. Partularily interested in Sunrise Aviation based at Oromond Beach FL and CFA in El Cajon, CA. I have checked other threads but they all have old posts as such. Would appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

Flight Training In The UK Or US?
 

I am currently a final year student at a UK university studying Chemical Engineering. My life long ambition is to become a commercial pilot however I went to university as a career back up.

Looking at the insane prices of CTC wings and OAA flight schools, I am at a disadvantage as most people who want to go into this profession. After speaking to a few people, there seems to be a way of completing your pilot studies from nothing to completion at a much lower cost in the US, with a flight school known as ATP in Florida.

From anyone who has experience or any form of advice/knowledge, would this a good route to go through if I wanted to become a commercial pilot. Ive enquired about their training which at $90,000 gives the complete flying package and able to do the FAA training and ATPL ground school exams back in the UK within the total cost. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Stay clear of CFA, they have a bad reputation! I know this place personally and all I can say is, stay away!

ATP is over priced for what you get. You can go just as fast for less at a few dozen other schools in the US.

Doing the PPL,ATPL exams and Hour building in US is better because the Airspace,ATC is quite easy and lot of fun.THe CPL and the MEIR are better done in the UK.Atleast thats how I did it and ended up with the blue book.Getting the best of both worlds!:ok:
