multi engine piston

Hello all,

I am looking forward to continue my training on a multi engined piston aircraft and unfortunately found out that I don't fit in a DA42 . I am 1.95m(6ft4in)
Can anyone propose a multi engine piston who had an experience like that? Also, any approved training organization in the UK which provide such aircraft for MEP/IR/CPL ?

Thank you

Twin engines

OAA use Piper Senecas
BCFT use the Beechcraft Duchess

Go along and see if you fit in! Best of luck.

As I'm sure you're aware some airlines have a maximum height restriction of 6 ft 3 I believe, but for many it's 6ft 5, so you should be OK, just :)

There is a Seneca at LCA you could possibly try on for size. 5B-CIX. You should have no problems in a Duchess either.

Aviator or Griffon?

Hey,

Have you sat in the DA42? Reason I ask is a guy I trained with was 6ft 7in and he had no issues fitting in the 42.

I echo the previous reply since I am exactly the same height as you and find there is plenty of room in the DA42 NG-6. Best to go and try it on for size if you haven't already! Good luck.
