multi engine piston
Hello all,
I am looking forward to continue my training on a multi engined piston aircraft and unfortunately found out that I don't fit in a DA42 . I am 1.95m(6ft4in) Can anyone propose a multi engine piston who had an experience like that? Also, any approved training organization in the UK which provide such aircraft for MEP/IR/CPL ? Thank you |
Twin engines
OAA use Piper Senecas
BCFT use the Beechcraft Duchess Go along and see if you fit in! Best of luck. As I'm sure you're aware some airlines have a maximum height restriction of 6 ft 3 I believe, but for many it's 6ft 5, so you should be OK, just :) |

There is a Seneca at LCA you could possibly try on for size. 5B-CIX. You should have no problems in a Duchess either. Aviator or Griffon? |
Hey,
Have you sat in the DA42? Reason I ask is a guy I trained with was 6ft 7in and he had no issues fitting in the 42. |
I echo the previous reply since I am exactly the same height as you and find there is plenty of room in the DA42 NG-6. Best to go and try it on for size if you haven't already! Good luck.
