Can someone tell me whats the difference:
single engine CPL + single engine instrument + ME Add on

single engine CPL + Multi engine instrument

which way is cheaper ? and which way will be more welcome for the employer when they require you to pay do the type rating ( for example A320)

I did something close to option 1.

I first did a SE IR. I then did the CPL using both SEP and MEP (using SEP for some brought the cost down and using MEP to get my MEP rating). In this CPL 'block' I also did extra MEP time to get the ME-IR. (I can't remember now but I think it's 5 hours + test to get MEIR from SEIR).

My first employer didn't ask anything about it and my current employer (jet) didn't ask specifics either.
