What options are there how to get a job with an airline
Hi lady’s and gents,
Applying to airlines all over the world for months with no success so I decided to do an instructor rating to build up hours and then get a proper job with an airline. Can anyone give me and everyone else suggestions. |
so is my job just make believe then? if so you'd think i would have dreamed up an extra few zeros on the end of the salary. oh well...

You guys should try Ryanair, Susi air, Cathay SO programs, if you have some ME time (100h) you could apply for a Transavia vacant, etc... Do your research conctact some pilot brokers, and just wait a while. If it doesn´t work then try instructing, ferrying or any other aviation related job.
Good luck |
I'm asking for ideas/options on how to break into the industry. Do you have any?

Setting up my own airline would be very optimistic thinking. How to build hours. Get the magic 1500 hours.

Well, if your opinion of being an instructor is that it's not a "proper job" I wouldn't bother. The industry is full of people with that opinion, and it's killing itself, as the bad instructors provide a bad service and then wonder why they can't find students to pay £180 an hour for them to build hours.

Whats so magic about 1500 hrs?
|
OP is clearly a troll. And not a very original one. :E

Why are you posting rubbish on this thread, if you have nothing constructive to say then please don’t post anything at all?
|
1500hours to unfreeze fatpl??
You need 500hrs on multi crew. |
My point exactly.
