A320-"200" series on my licence. Normal?
i did my type rating for the A320-series.
when i recived the licence from UK CAA i read on it A320-200 series. it sounds strange becouse if the company i will work for want to make me fly 319... i'm not sure i can with the specification of "200 series" on my licence. Is that normal? the other guys from my type rating course, with licence from other euopean CAA, just have A320 series. |
mmm, interested in this as well. Guess one worth knowing before going to the CAA!

This is normal mate. The A320 series on your licence indicates you are qualified to fly the A318, A319, A320 and A321.
Four for the price of one! :ok: |
Then the 737 TR with difference between CL and NG is much better: -300, -400, -500, -600, -700, -800, -900, BBJ1 and BB2. Nine at the price of one!!! :E

yes... i know it Cat... but i'm talking abount the "200" added after the A320series...
i know very well what i can fly... i just want to know if the UK CAA didn't do a mistake and i will pay that mistake in the future. |
Why don't you contact the CAA and ask for clarification? I'm sure they have a better idea of what it means than anyone on here.
