PAT Bournemouth
Any body got any experience/information about PAT at Bournemouth for the CPL/IR?
(I am asking this for a friend) |
Just started with them, and so far they have 10/10 in my books.
PS |
Never heard a bad thing about Anthony and Lindas company which is rare! I visited them last year with a view to train with them and they seemed to be a very good team especially when it comes to the I/R.
No extra costs for the use of the sim and I suspect little cue time for extra hours in the A/C. Tell your pal not to be put off by the WWII building. VFE. |
Reddo,
When I was looking to book my CPL/IR I was given 3 choices in the Uk from a VIP within the CAA based on pass rates and quality of training : 1 Exeter School of Flying 2 Triple 'A' at Humberside 3 PAT at Bournemouth Your mate won't be disappointed. |
I give them 10/10 and if you search for a thread "WWW returns and recommends a school" (when PPRuNe is Less busy :-( ) you'll find out why.
WWW |
I did my GFT and IR with Anthony and agree with all above. Would say they are both good honest people!!
|
Did my I/R in Jan 2000, with them, and my renewal 2 weeks ago
Nice people, go for it ! |
The place to go!
If you look through the old buildings and get past Bruno (head of security and catering removal) you will have entered a very nice flying school. Excellent ME platforms (BE76 Duchess aircraft) and very professional instructors. The SE aircraft are a bit older and underpowered (BE24) but the cockpit has commanality with the BE76 so that helps. As they only offer CPL and IR courses they are very dedicated. :D |
Anyone know if PAT have a web site?
|
Website?!? Are you mad. They only just got running water!
Some kind soul should knock up a page for them with the contact details - it would save me having to pass them out! Cheers, WWW |
WWW,
I`m sure I saw something a while back with an address for them....may have been mistaken. Cheers anyway. DWW |
Well what do you know!?!
http://www.professionalairtraining.co.uk Quite informative as well. Its look does suit their WW2 Nissen Hut look though. WWW |
WWW,
Cheers mate. :) |
