I did mine in Bartolini Air. I strongly suggest this FTO. Very professional, nice fleet (Tecnam P2006T), affordable prices and they are located at a controlled airport. All my flight were performed on site, so you don't loose time flying somewhere to look for some nav aid, but just concentrate yourself on your training skills. The instructor team is just fine, all are fluent in English and rather young. Check other thread. All are very positive.

I have just done my IR at Bartolini Air in Lodz and they are a fantastic company with great instructors and aircraft. Having completed my CPL almost 3 years ago at a well known UK FTO I decided to look overseas for the IR, partly to do with financing, as it is lots cheaper over there (if its career training then the VAT at 25% is taken off) but the added benefit that they train you quicker, allowing consistency and reducing accommodation costs at the same time. The standards exceeded my expectations and I hate to say it but it puts many training establishments in the UK in a lower league. Why pay £17k in the UK when you could pay less than half that for the same qualification?

Actually right now due to the currency exchange rates schools in Poland have nice prices (Just to be clear I do represent a school), the average rate for C152 all inclusive sells for about 500 PLN which equals to 97GBP or 113EUR. I've been rather suprised when comparing our prices to schools around London :) Be sure to check the school though, as there are some worth staying clear of.

Urz?d Lotnictwa Cywilnego - the main website of the CAA

http://www.ulc.gov.pl/_download/osro...lotniczego.pdf
- The list of approved FTO's

http://www.ulc.gov.pl/_download/osro...lotniczego.pdf
- The list sorted by training types offered

http://www.ulc.gov.pl/_download/osro...tro_271110.pdf
- The list of approved Mechanical Training Organisations (Part 66 personel training)

Mind You the exchange rates fluctuate, right now in Poland we consider our currency to be relatively weak.
