Advise please on a training route?

Good day

I am a South African Student graduating from school in November and in January 2012 am wanting to start pilot training. I am highly confused as to what route to take that will best suit me, with regards to flight schools and training programmes.

I do not wish to stay in South Africa to do my training as the airlines here ONLY take airforce pilots or those of colored skin. I have a budget of $70000 US

I have looked at programmes such as CTC and Oxford academies "cadet scheme" programmes however those are restricted for EU residents:ugh: I have got permanant residence as it stands in the US and have been looking into flight schools there (namely Phoenix East ) but I do not want to end up working as a flight instructor for 10 years. Is there any programmes other than the mentioned above that offer the same sort of thing? Pay for your training and then get employed by the airline?

I have searched the forums for people in a similar situation as mine but cannot seem to find any, I apologise if I am opening a thread unnecesarily. All advise would be much appreciated! Thanks:)
