If it existed, it'd be the biggest golden ticket in the aviation industry.

But it doesn't...

Slightly off thread but the rumour mill at work says that Aer Lingus has just received approval to run integrated cadet courses again from the IAA. So perhaps Willie will be thinking along the same lines. Time will tell.

I think BA will get back into the ab initio business. But not in the same way as before. It will be a partial sponsorship and run out of house by CTC or OAA.

I also think it will be a lot smaller scheme than in the past. They have hundreds of cadets sending in their CV's from other large UK airlines who all fit the early to mid 20's bright young thing profile. Being type rated and line checked mean they pose near zero training risk.

But BA being BA I'm sure they'll want to run their own modestly sized but premium places cadetship scheme. All part of being a good Corporate business etc. etc.

WWW. "run out of house by CTC or OAA".

You're right, they are. And surely you don't think your old "Alma Mater" will be left out! :=:=:=

So perhaps Willie will be thinking along the same lines.
Willie isn't there any more. He has moved up to bigger things in Madrid.
