Brazilian ATPL needed!
 

Hi folks,

I have a UK national, JAR and US FAA ATP / ATPL... now I need a Brazilian ATPL so I can continue to live out of a suitcase. :ok:

I know I need to pass a written paper which I believe is in Portuguese and complete three hours of flight training and a flight test. :eek:

Now for the question... can anyone recommend a training provider out there? :confused:

Any information or advice would be appreciated! :ugh:

Sorry if this sounds like an obvious question, but assuming you are not a Brazilian national, have you checked whether you can work as a pilot in Brazil, if that is the intention?

I know some other Latin American countries do not / did not allow foreign pilots, that's why I thought to mention this.

And before you fall into the trap:

The exemption that is often "promised to take place soon", allowing foreign pilots to work on a visa for 5 (!) years, is nothing than a rumour up til now....
