which books for CPL?
 
Hi all,

New to PPruNe, I'm looking into doing my CPL and i was wondering what the best set of books is, ATC or bob tait?

any recommendations?

I'd have to say Bob Tait.

He seems to explain a lot through images, which makes remembering things easier. They have a slightly less formal feel to them but everything is still covered.

ATC are good, there's nothing wrong with them and I'm sure a lot of the guys on here prefer them so in the end it's a personal choice. Everything is clinical and by the book.

Maybe get into a pilot shop and have a look through both? They both have the same end result it just depends on how you interpret things.

I'm sure a lot more opinions will follow.
