What are the Best (international-based) Flight academies out there?
Hey guys,
Whats up!! Do you guys happen to know any international-based flight academies that are good and don't get to screw you over and teach you everything so quickly and then just leave you? Its been hard to find a good one. thanks guys, Omar Malash |
Which part of the world do you want to train in and for which license?

Echo ... echo ... echo

Well, I would like to get an ATPL JAA License. I am still in Zero level though. No previous experience in flying before.
Btw, is it possible for a pilot to have both FAA and JAA licenses ?? |
Yes it is possible to have FAA AND JAA. I'd recommend going to get the FAA certificates first as training in the US for the FAA then doing a JAA conversion will be less expensive than doing the JAA then an FAA conversion.

You know what Michael that actually makes a lot of sense. You are not the only person who actually told me that. I think im going to actually do that. So like what are the good schools in the US. I heard the Texas, Arizona, Florida are like the top states. What do you think ?

Hey Omar, by your location i am assuming you're Egyptian. I know quite a few Egyptians who took the plunge to flight school. If you are looking at working in Egypt i dont think a JAA is that important. The guys i know Did their training in South Africa, Pilot Training South Africa | Port Alfred Flying School and Cape Flying Services and the conversion in Egypt was a peice of cake.
On the other hand, if JAA or FAA is what you want or need, then i think the states is the way to go, quite a few good schools there, like Accelerated Flight Training | Flying Lessons - FlightSafety Academy in Florida. Best of Luck :ok: |
