Question about registering for ATPL exams

I am planning on sitting some of the ATPL exams for my conversion in Florida in December. I am just going through the application to sit the exams and it says:

"Section 5 must be completed by the CGI (or authorised signatory) of the approved training provider for all examination booking requests."

I meet the exemption for having to sit an approved course, so what do I do with this section 5? Do I just leave it blank and send the form SRG 1192 with the application?

Was planning on calling the CAA Monday, but I didn't know if anyone had a faster answer here.

Thanks

Take any advice issued on the forum at your own risk. For the definitive answer, always contact the CAA. and get a name.....and get it on paper......!

Send the form...attach a note and the evidence i.e. the part of lasors or whatever document speaks about the exemption.
Also ring the CAA and get someone to tell your and get them to email you it.
I also had a similar issue with regard to getting results transferred...one authority always seems to try give the work to the other authority involved so i had just rang both and got what I needed in writing from both parties.

Basically get every last bit of backup you can when dealing with two authorities because then no one can turn around to you at the end and say no actually wait you cant do that!

Leave it blank and fill in the exemption form with your ATPL number and hours.
CAA Exams people are good people and familar with the exemption rules.

I contacted the CAA and the above stated is 100% correct.
