Sim Partner Needed ASAP!

I am desperately looking for a Sim Partner. I was going to do a 737-200 Type rating in Miami but got screwed by PanAm. They said they could find me a Sim Partner and now at the last minute are saying they can't find one! I need to get this done ASAP! Im willing to do any type rating! The 737-200 was just the cheapest!

May i ask why u r in such a hurry to get any typerating done? Isn't it better to have some kind of goal with it?

"bcoz he is a bloody prat thats why"

So what brought that rather abrupt reply on then?:confused:

Perhaps the figure 200 would induce such a reaction from a working professional thinking of what's usable on a licence and what's not.

Still can't figure out why wanting to do a 737-200 rating would justify someone being labelled a bloody prat??:ugh: Still plenty in commercial operation as is: 727, 74 classic DC8 etc etc, maybe not in Europe so much but a bit of forward thinking!!!!:ok:

Prat maybe harsh but I completely see the point being made.

If your doing a type rating at least have an aim of who to apply for or a sniff of a job offer at least. It sounds a bit crazy just picking 'any old type' just to have it on your license. Especially the 737-200 which are far and few between and becoming obsolete. Have a bit of savy dude!!

Personally I'd go for the 747 or A380 and have the crack!!:}

Fancy a rating on the DC3 personally, Any of you guys point me in the right direction?;)

These guys do DC-3 ratings:

The DC-3 Network - Website for DC-3 Pilots & Enthusiasts

The three training centers I know about have pilots to pair up with a single student. One even has a program, after you do 50 or 60 sim support sessions, they'll put you through a checkride for a type rating. I guess you get what you pay for.

Actually, I just wanted the FAA ATP. Better spend $5000 for a 737 type rating than $3000 to get it in a PA-34, don't you think?

makes complete sense to me now, go for it pardes! I wonder who the prat is now.
