Panam JAA type rating

Hi,
I am planing to do Panam JAA Type rating in Miami.They are offering very good deal.My concern is if i go out of Europe to do it ,does it have any affect when i apply for job in UK? Anyone has experience with panam?
Any info would be appreciated.
