Free ATPL Question Bank
For anyone looking for a great ATPL database of questions try this JAA ATPL Questions | AviationTire.com. Its as good or better than the one I paid alot of money for 12 months access. After passing all 14 exams there is alot of questions in this that came up in my exams. If only I knew about this earlier!:{

Good resource, thanks...:ok: however not too keen on the answer being highlighted straight away, it sort of leaves you with little to guess. But then I suppose you can still use it as a revision tool...
|
Looks pretty good - I've bookmarked it for a later date. :ok:

Thanks a lot dude! Been looking for a site like that a long time now, Writing my exams soon so it's a perfect timing...

Theres a link at the top to contact them with feedback such as this. I've just done so but it wouldn't hurt for more people to join in.
Have to say though that its nice to see something like this made available for free! :ok: |
good looking out dude. just what I need when I am bored at work. wont hurt to get a headstart on lots of the Q&A.
|
Had a scan through it and it seems quite complete. Some questions I did in my exams recently, which I hadn't seen before, appeared in this QB. Will use it for my last set of exams. Great find!

I sent them an email regarding the option of being able to pick an answer first, then see the correct one and I just recieved an answer back saying that they will include this in up coming updates of the database. :ok:
|
Good stuff :ok: ... I look forward to the update.
|
Thank a lot mate....:ok:
|
then there is this: www.atpls.org, also completely free. Seems to have about the same questions (well you can hardly tell exactly, can you) but this one doesn't show you the correct answers up front (unless you just press submit without even trying:) )
Seems to be very recent so there aren't too many explanations there yet but I came across some, I guess their aim is not only to list the questions but to provide some feedback/learning tools as well. |
AviationTire.com updates database
AviationTire.com has just updated the question database to 14000 questions now.

I must emphasize on the fact that this QB contains A LOT of errors so if you're only going to use this free online QB as a revision tool, reconsider it.
|
V3
does anyone now if this QB covers V3 questions?or better ...if anyone can help me find a free source to cover V3 questions?? thanx...:D
|
That's really good resource. Thank you.:ok:

BE WARNED. ATPL instructor. |
Not quite an ATPL instructor Lightning Mate. I used to compare QB answers and most of the time AviationTire's answers were completely different. :)

I believe what Mohit C meant was if you are going to use those DB you're not in for a treat. I'm trying to brush up for an interview, and alot of the questions are more confusing than anything else, and some contradicting others.
I do appreciate the effort that they put into those sites, but alot of the questions are dumb as hell. What they really need is a comment/discussion system to accompany the questions. To make my point, look at Flight Planning, questions 1 and 6. Phrasing ridiculous, and answers inaccurate (or maybe i'm just more rusty than I thought I was ; )) |
Is Aviation Tire up todate?
I took the aviation law test last week and they were asking questions about 3 and 4 engine climb gradients. My study material which is a few years old talks about the 2.5% plus 0.8% for 3.3% climb gradient on a departure. My GS does have a 2 week brush up course before the actual exams. There seems to be a gap between what I am learning and what is on Aviation Tires exam.
Any thoughts? Thank you:ugh: |
Re-examination costs money and takes time, so it is too expensive to experiment with Free JAA questions database.
I personally have used both online database and software and passed the exams with an average score of 92% in Germany. online database Bristol ATPL Online - The ATPL Multiple Choice Question Database software Aviator ATPL EASA/JAA ATPL,CPL,IR airplane & helicopter theory test preparation |
