Commercial to RAF

I know a lot of people move from the RAF into the commercial world but has anyone ever done it the other way round? I have my fATPL, I'm on the age limit of 23 and I'm now just wondering if the RAF is an option?

Don't see why not if you pass all the selection however you would have to do all the flight training again I would imagine. Might be better posting this in the mil forum.

yes has been done.

I met a fast jet student at linton who had previously been to oxford fATPL and been flying kingairs for a few years.

It is possible, and you'd start flying again from scratch.

If you're 23 now, times not on your side! It takes over 6 months to go through the full selection procedure (it took me 9 months). The Navy has a higher age limit. 26 I think.
