time building with pa28 where?
 

hi men! I m in short going to florida fot 100h of time building I d like to do it on PA28 instead of 172 any place to suggest? thank y bye

Voyager Aviation on Merrit Island is a really nice small airfield next to Cape Canavral with a nice relaxed environment. I did many hours from there in a really nice PA28 they have there. Speak to Dawn there she will help you out, she should have accomodation there aswell :ok:

Go where you can rent an aircraft and take it touring. The problem with a lot of hour building is that it is limited if you just fly out back from the same airport.

I know someone who went hour building did 100 hours- when you looked in his log book, he had done basically the same hour 100 times, learnt little.

Go touring and make every hour unique. It will do you good.

Seems kind of fun to hour bild:p

It is fun but you don't get to hour build on an integrated course; only the modular route from PPL :)

You can hour-build on a modugrated course too, which basically is integraled hour-building. 7hrs each day :8

Let me hijack this thread for a second. Lets say I have my atp and cpl and everything. I go to a airline which requires 350 hours. I have 300 hours from my training. But before that I gained 50 hours when I took my PPL. Will this count as 350 hours when I apply for a job?

What I am trying to say is does PPL hours count in the airliner industry?

Yes it does; total hours are total hours. BUT, why would you want to get a PPL and then go on an integrated course?

Also, you cannot have an ATPL with only 350 hours; you'll have a CPL/IR with ATPL theory credits - there is a big difference.

Because I have 3-4 years left befor I start Integrated. So I will take the PPL now just for fun and practice.

You might want to consider Florida Flyers in St. Augustine (www.florida-flyers.com). They have a PA28 for $99 p.h. and do not, as most US schools, ask for fuel surcharges. The school has recently been founded and is managed by a German guy. I've been there in January and was impressed by both service and the state of the planes.
If you're interested in accumulating 100 hours as quickly as possible, you can just hire a plane for two or three weeks and basically tour across Florida, which will certainly be a great experience.

Full Sutton have a PA-28 G-ZEBY for 85 quid an hour. Pretty good price if you ask me and great availability.
