Vegas flying
 
Has anyone any experience of renting in the vegas area ? looking to rent to do about 6hrs sightseeing - not training or hour building just self fly round the canyon hoover dam over to monument valley and back.

Just make sure you know the restrictions about flying over through and in National parks and monuments.

Have a look at Elite aviation, North Las Vegas airport.

They have new C172SP or Cirrus aircraft they will rent you and can guide you on flying where you want to go which incidentally is very straightforward

I hired from LA (or San Diego) when ever I went to Vegas.

You can pick up a detailed guide about where you can and can't fly over the canyon. I last flew there a long while back but then there were specific crossing points, mainly visual points.

But its spectacular flying - Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and surrounding areas.
