What I'd like to add is I had a great experience there . I was expected to work hard & be flexible but so was yuri - he would arrange hire of other aircraft so we could hour build . I experienced alot of wealthy Indian students there, some very capable and some not .
I believe aviation is something you deeply wish to do & probably need an aptitude for . You should not be pushed into it as it is a good profession or think by attending a course you will come out the other side automatically qualified on minimum hours.
I witnessed full time students taking 80 hours to do a ppl , flying daily. One got lost on a very simple navex by not sync ing the dg, then ignored radar help and stuck it in a field . Others were simply not taking lessons on board and needed so many extra hours that a guaranteed pass was unsustainable .
The school operates under the same pressures as any other but I'd say if you go there and work hard it will be a great experience .
I think of it fondly from the flightdeck of my 737 !

I was a student at RFC back in 2003 (one of the first commercial students there) so my advice is probably somewhat out of date, but what I will say is that if you put the effort in then I'm certain that the management will put even more effort back for you. :ok:

They worked me hard when I was there but I gained my FAA CPL ME/IR within 5 weeks and I chose to go back to them for my ATP upgrade.
I now fly for a VVIP operation in the Middle East and travel all over the world thanks in no small part to Yuri and the team in Riverside........

I came i fell in love with the setup, weeks into flying the schedule became really tough for me, i kept failing my PPL stage one check and felt like either i wasn't meant for aviation or i was being ripped off. Six months later I cannot believe how lucky I am to have discovered this school (Kudos to Adebayo Lawal), in fact i have fetched at least 4 students for them (on the way) and many more to come.
Why do i suddenly have a change of heart? Well first of all, never will you see a school where money is not their number one priority, rather the owner takes it upon himself to ensure everybody's wellbeing. The lazy ones will like to disagree with me to an extent because make no mistake, the place is tough, they make standards really high, but in the long run, it's we the students who benefit from it. If you really love flying and want to finish it as soon as possible at an affordable rate, go to riverside flight center. Only when you finish and look back on the path they made you tread will you realize it was a wonderful decision to attend. Cheers.

I agree with the above post. I agree the training is top notch, and their main interest is to help you get the most out of your training in the shortest amount of time that is possible,without cutting any corners. If you're willing to put 100% effort of course. If you're gonna be slacking off better u stay home and don't blame it on the source of training.
I studied hard and didn't have problems in the whole training process, and instructors are always there to help you any time you need it.
This school has a very high standards for safety as well.
Instructors are very friendly, and the experience at RFC was in the top. Excellent flight school and definitely recommend it ****

OK,all what's told is excellent but they say tat classes are crowded with students and it's not 1:1 like other schools and instructors are young and not experiencedand they don't allow you to fly 7 days a week cause they take week ends and restrictions in night flights and cross country
Students complain that they can't ask during classes as not to delay instructors ...all schools make 1:1 but Riverside doesdn't cause of low costs

True, they don't fly 7 days a week, but even at that, the number of times you would get to fly in a week would leave you so overwhelmed you would wish for a break every week. Do you want a school where you're guaranteed to finish fast? Or do you just want a school where they fly 7 days a week? I dunno about you man, but I think I'll choose the former over the latter. Cus that what Riverside is for. The dumbest pilots at least still get to finish below 18 months. Average guys (like me) finish between 6 to 8 months. I myself finished in exactly 7 months (including about 2 months of bad weather etc, effectively 5 months of flying). So what r u scared of man? Unless Yuri has changed policies from when I was there (which is very unlikely), its a great place for the serious minded ones. Cheers and good luck.
