B737 Type Rating

Hello all,

I am currently flying a 737 outside the US on an ICAO license that is "con validated" on my FAA Certificate which is a Commercial.

What I am looking for is to be able to get my ATP Certificate and while doing so the 737 Type on my FAA license. ( Two birds one stone). I know that there are some schools out there that will do it but I really don't want to sit through a 737 ground again since I have already done so and fly the plane about 80 hours a month. I am about to take the ATP written exam to get that out of the way. So in essence all I want to do is jump in a SIM and take a Ride type deal with a DE. Where could I go to get this done? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Did You Try....

Look up Higher Power in Houston
or Bond in Orlando they are the most reasonable in the States for 737.

Wish,

I was in the same boat as you last year. I sucked it up went to High Power, sat through the class and sim tng sessions and did the check to get it on my FAA license. I don't believe there is any other way to do it any more. i believe well in the past it could have been done another way.
