T/O & Landings Time Limit after TR.
Does anyone know how long one has, to perform the 4-6 T/O's & Landings required to be done after the actual type rating exam?

The type rating course, including theoretical knowledge validity of the Skill Test.shall be completed within the 6 months preceding the skill test. Each applicable item of the skill test shall be satisfactorily completed within the 6 months immediately preceding the date of receipt of the application for the rating. In addition, where landings are required to be completed in the aeroplane (see Flight Training minima below), these must also be completed within the 6 month |
And after 21 or 23 days you have to go to the sim again.

RSFTO, Thanks for the info, but i had already read LASORS and came to the same conclusion as you.
However people keep coming up with this 21 days, which i can not find any official document which states it. JeroenC, thanks for your post. do you (or anyone) know where i can see this 21 day requirement in writing please?:ugh::confused::ugh:. Cheers |
I don't know where its written but I know its 21 days on my course but my employer pays for the additional sim sessions if required.

I was told during my preparation for the Ryanair TR I am in now. Don't know if it is company policy, but don't think so.
No reference, sorry! Remember, it does not invalidate your LST, you just can't continue with base training. |
