CPL 170A question
Hi
Is the CPL 170A classed as a training flight and included as apart of a 28 hour course or is it an additional flight? I am asking as I recently finished a CPL and am applying for the license, I was advised it can be claimed as "course hours claimed" on the application on the CPL application form. However my understanding is that if you pass a 170A in your log book its logged as P1(s), so I assume you can claim that as P1 on the application form? Read Lasors 2008 and couldnt find anything apart from hours required for issue of the CPL license. |
It counts as part of the course hours so therefore is logged as dual.
The actual test if passed, is P1. A lot of schools use the 170 form as a basis to provide a mock test, to ensure your ready - but it is still part of the course hours. |
