Is AFT a safe bet?

Hi there.
Would appreciate help with this one please.
If anyone is currently at Atlantic Flight Training or can help with this question i'd be greatful as I'm about to confirm the CPL, ME/IR on the glass cockpit DA40 and DA42.
Yes I know about the engine issues, but what does it mean to those of us training there or wanting to train there? Or anywhere else for that matter that rely on these aircraft.
Have you been waiting around with many AC gone tek?
Are you likely to finish on schedule (Personal circumstances aside)
Feel free to send me a private message if preferred and thanks for the help

I was looking in to this school.

Its been around for years, seems quite big, but not many people talk about it. I dont know if it gets many students.

AFT, as far as I know, is fine. There are problems with Thielert's warranty but parts are available. The worry is that a gearbox overhaul may be costly. Others are still using the DA42...dbee

Deno,

Have you tried asking them directly what the situation is? I don't think you'll just get spin from them.
