ATPL req.
Hi there
Does anybody in here how what type of calculator that is allowed in the atpl exams??? I need a brush up course in mathematics since i cant remember how too calculate this one: 4500` cos 47*=???? do i have to put cos47 first or 4500 first the challenge is taken from my GEN. NAV book from BGS page 2.8 brs |
All depends on the calc, and how flexible it is, I would recommend the Casio FX series, just have to type "cos47 x 4500 =" you should get an answer of 3068.99
I assume you are doing Gnav, and the 4500 is NM or km |
Casio FX series are allowed; in fact any calculator as long as it is non-programmable.
Whichever calculator you buy, read through the instructions as some can have a different logic to others. I have one casio calculator where I would have to type 47cos and another cos 47. Cheers Whirls |
