Horizon 2010

Hey all,

It's my first post after much readings on these forums ...
I've got just a single question to the knowledge bank:

How will the horizon look like in 2010 for young ATPL's with 250h without TR?

I tried myself to answer to this with my personal crystal balls (no, not those) but they don't seem to answer me.

I've read many things about our actual chances of getting a flying job. But few things are said about the future. When I speak about this to fellow wanabees they nearly all speak about India and Eastern solutions...

(I'm about to begin my instruction at www.sfa.be and my profile is ... 27 years, master in elec engineering, 2 years of work exp in a bank as IT analyst)

My motivation is, and will remain, at it's best whatever your answers will be, I just want to know a bit better what temperatue will be outside when I'll get out of the water.

Many thanks!

I would imagine, pretty much the same as it is the now. It's only two years away, nothing changes that much over that time frame, unless we have another disaster again.

Thanks preduk.

Alright, I thought it was a more "regular" 4-5 year cycle. 2001-2004 bad, 2005-2009 good, 2010 ish lower end begins again.

But well, no reason not being confident then!
