Converting Canadian CPL to FAA CPL

Have a full Canadian CPL with Multi-IR rating.
Has anyone ever converted one, or might know the procedure involved in order to convert one, to an FAA license? Want to be able to fly N-reg with commercial license.

A few people have said it's just a quick written exam but I want to make sure that's the case for an actual CPL and not just PPL.

Appreciate the help :)

They are now a direct exchange for fixed wing, with, as you said, maybe a quick exam, which I believe is for the IR side of things. Details on Transport Canada's website.

Run a search on the subject in the Canada forum. You'll find a very detailed procedure to follow. I converted mine last summer and it was quite simple.
