ppl studying

Would anyone like to share about how long it took to study fot their ppl exams. As in from the day you started to either finishing study or completion of exams. What is the realistic time for covering the course (self thought)

Well I've averaged about one month a subject, I could have done it quicker but have a lot of work with an airline & airport operations course I am currently involved in. Also, I did HP&l and RT theory both together so that was about 2 weeks for each. Im sure it can be done much quicker than this if time permits. I was in no rush, 2 exams left to complete then USA to finish the flying which I've already started here.

I'd also go for about 4-5 weeks per subject on average and with a full-time job. Some subjects are easier once you've got some flying training under your belt e.g. RT Comms, Flight planning & Ops, Aircraft Technical and the type paper. Most people start with Air Law, Human Factors, Met and Nav.

Cheers
