They are not Lufthansa
They are a 100 per cent subsidiary of Lufthansa, however Lufthansa has another FTO for their sponsored trainees.

really? that is?

phantomcruiser07 14th Oct 2007 20:43

does intercockpit use the same training techniques as lufthansas own sponsored trainee pilot program?

hvogt 15th Oct 2007 14:56

Lufthansa Flight Training GmbH in Bremen.

I don't know. However, I found a site by an Intercockpit course. The pictures on the site tell me that they use Lufthansa's facilities in Frankfurt. I doubt that many other FTOs can use equipment of the same caliber.

phantomcruiser07 21st Oct 2007 20:10

that is indeed very impressive equipment, thnx for that

btw are you at intercockpit?

hvogt 22nd Oct 2007 10:20

are you at intercockpit?
No, I'm not. However, as my plans to take up a career in aviation become more serious, I try to figure out what to think of them.

phantomcruiser07 23rd Oct 2007 22:09

just out of curiosity, do intercockpit students actually get 2 use that incredible equipment show on that site hgovt posted, or were they just taking pictures while they were given a tour?

MarcoFF 24th Oct 2007 08:06

I visited them in Frankfurt airport.
Yea, the facilities are nice.
Anyways im not considering Intercockpit anymore.
Feel free to pm if you want to know more about info day there, or my thoughts about intercockpit.

I was wondering, too. Anyway, the sea survival drill hardly looks like being part of a tour.

I just sent them an e-mail asking if they would be willing to answer our questions here.

I'll keep you informed.

I'll keep you informed.
In the meanwhile Intercockpit's marketing & sales manager wrote me an e-mail in which she confirmed that the respective pictures were taken during the ordinary training.

To be honest, I didn't expect anything different, and I should apologise for the stupid allegation my question implied.
