Time taken for CPL & MEIR?

Hi folks,

Just curious as to how long it took people to achieve their CPL & MEIR after completion of ATPLS?

Thanks in advance :ok:

Cpl / Meir

Took me 11 weeks in total, 2 of which without flying during the CPL due to poor weather. Did it in the UK between end of March and June 07

Almost 3 years. Let it wait due to Sept 11 terror attacks and their effect on recruitment (several colleagues had to pay expensive renewals meantime), then ran out of cash. Twice. Got there in the end though.

Occasionally at interview it was mentioned, but the explanation was accepted, and it was an interesting talking point if slightly uncomfortable to start with. Never had a problem getting offered a job.
